Pla ce all parts from the box in a cle ared area a nd position them on the floor in front of you. Re move all pa cking materials from your are a and pla ce the m ba ck into the box. Do not dispose of the pa cking materials until a ssembly is completed.
ASSEMBL Y INSTRUCTIONS 7 STEP 3 Slide the UPRIGHT SLEEVE(15) onto the UPRIGHT(4). Slide the TENSION CABLE(26) into the bottom end of the UPRIGHT(4). Pull the end of the TENSION CABLE(26) through the s quare hole in the UPRIGHT(4). CAUTION: Be careful not to da mage the CONNECTION WIRE(30).
ASSEMBL Y INSTRUCTIONS 8 STEP 4 Connect the SUPPORT ARM(44) to the RIGHT PIVOTING ARM(8) with BUTTON HEAD BOL T (M8x85mm)(83) a nd NYLOCK NUT(M8)(73). STEP 5 Refer to the inset drawing. Re move the LOCKING KNOB(56) from the LIN KAGE CONNECTOR(54). Then swing the LINKAGE(9) toward the front.
ASSEMBL Y INSTRUCTIONS 9 L R SLIDER CABLE END PLASTIC FITTING PLASTIC BRACKET STEP 7 Set the TENSION KNOB(27) at position "8". Connect the CABLE END of the TENSION KNOB(27) into the SLIDER in the PLASTIC BRACKET .
ASSEMBL Y INSTRUCTIONS 10 L R STEP 9 There is a "L" decal on the LEFT HANDLEBAR(5 ), a nd a "R" decal on the RIGHT HANDLEBAR(6). Atta ch the LEFT a nd RIGHT HANDLEBARS(5 , 6 ) onto the LEFT a nd RIGHT PIVOTING ARMS(7, 8) with SOCKET HEAD BOL TS(M6 x 35mm)(81) a nd NYLOCK NUTS(M6)(72).
SET UP INSTRUCTIONS LEVELING: MOVING: Equipment Ma t Pla ce the Elliptical / Ste pper in the area where it will be used. It is re commended that the Elliptical / Ste pper be pla ced on a n equi pment mat. The max. operation di mensions of Elliptical / Ste pper are a pproximately 53 1/2" long x 28" wide x 61 3/8" tall.
OPERA TIONAL INSTRUCTIONS ELLIPTICAL MODE AND STEPPER MODE Y our Elliptical / Ste pper ca n be used in the ELLIPTICAL mode or the STEPPER mode. When the LINKAGE CONNECT ORS(54) are atta ched to the FRONT ST ABILIZER(2), your Elliptical / Ste pper is in the STEPPER mode.
USING THE ELECTRONIC METER FUNCTIONS: SCAN: TIME: COUNT : (DIST ANCE:) TO T AL COUNT : (SPEED:) CALORIES: FUNCTION BUTTONS: RESET : Press the button to reset all function s to zero a nd ski p to STOP mode. MODE : Press a nd relea se to sele ct ea ch function for pre set target values.
USING THE ELECTRONIC METER PULSE RECOVER Y FUNCTION The PULSE RECOVER Y function mea sures how quickly you return to a re sting pulse rate after exercising. Y ou ca n use this function to me a sure improvement a s you get into sha pe. The ELECTRONIC METER will monitor your pulse for 60 se conds a nd calculate a Pulse Recovery value from F1 to F6.

CONDITIONING GUIDELINES How you begin your exercise progra m depends on your physical condition. If you have been ina ctive for several years or are severely overwe ight, start slowly a nd incre a se your workout ti me gradually . Increa se your workout intensity gra dually , too, by monitoring your he art rate while you exercise.
