Pla ce all parts from the box in a cleared area a nd position them on the floor in front of you. Remove all pa cking materials from your are a and pla ce the m ba ck into the box. Do not dispose of the pa cking materials until a ssembly is completed. Read e a ch step carefully before beginning.
ASSEMBL Y INSTRUCTIONS 7 STEP 3 Slide the SEA T(54) onto the RAIL(1). Atta ch the REAR ST AND(2) onto the RAIL(1) with HEX HEAD BOL TS(M8 x 15mm)(70). NOTE: STEP 4 Remove the LOCKING K NOB(44) from the SUPPORT FRAME(4). Remove the PULL PIN(43) from the RAIL(1).
ASSEMBL Y INSTRUCTIONS 8 STEP 5 Lock the SUPPORT FRAME(4) on the RAIL(1) with the LOCKING K NOB(44). Insert the PULL PIN(43) into the hole on the RAIL(1) for storage. STEP 6 Install two "AA" batteries into the METER(35), two batteries included.
USING THE ELECTRONIC METER FUNCTION BUTTON: Press the button to select function s. Reset all function s to zero by pressing the button a nd holding it down f or three seconds. Wooden Pedal movement or push the BUTTON. Automatic shut off after 2 minute s of ina ctivity .
10 10 Sit on the SEA T(54) and pull on the HANDLEBAR(27) to verify that the Fan Syste m provides resista nce a nd the Seat travel is smooth a nd stable. Clea n the roller tra cks on the RAIL(1) with a n absorbent cloth. It is the sole responsibility of the user/owner to en sure that regular maintena nce is performed.
How you begin your exercise progra m depends on your physical condition. If you have been ina ctive fo r several years, or are severely overweight, you must start slowly a nd increa se your time on the 1400 AIR ROWER gradually: a few minutes per workout.
12 W ARM-UP a nd COOL-DOW N W arm-up The purpose of warming up is to pre pare your body for exercise a nd to mini mize injuries. W arm up for two to f ive minutes bef ore strength-training or a erobic exercising. Perform a ctivities that raise your heart rate a nd warm the working muscles.
