5 EQUIPMENT W AR NING & NOTICE LABELS This chart is provided to help identify the warning a nd notice labels on the BODYTRAC TM . Ple a se ta ke a moment to fa miliarize yourself with all of the warning a nd notice labels.
6 HAR D W ARE IDENTIFICA TION CHAR T This chart is provided to help identify the hardware used in the a ssembly process. Pla ce the wa shers or the ends of the bolts or screws on the circles to che ck for the correct di a meter . Use the small scale to check the length of the bolts a nd screws.
Pla ce all parts from the box in a cleared area a nd position them on the floor in front of you. Re move all pa cking materi als from your area a nd pla ce the m ba ck into the box. Do not dispose of the pa cking materi als until a ssembly is completed.
ASSEMBL Y INSTRUCTIONS 8 STEP 2 Insert the Bra cket on FRONT ST ABILIZER(28) into the FRONT SUPPORT(26). Atta ch the METER POST(31) to the FRONT SUPPORT(28), then bolt the METER POST(31), FRONT SUPPORT(26), a nd FRONT ST ABILIZER(28) together with BUTTON HEAD BOL TS(M8x1.
STEP 4 Insert the PEDAL SHAFT(32) through holes located on the METER POST(31). Pla ce a PEDAL SP ACER(33) a nd a PEDAL(34) onto e a ch end of the PEDAL SHAFT(32) a nd slide them toward the METER POST(31). Then secure the PEDALS(34) with BUTTON HEAD BOL TS(M8x1.
ASSEMBL Y INSTRUCTIONS 10 STEP 6 U nfold the HANDLEBARS(17, 18) a nd the EXTENSION ARMS(14) a s shown in the illustration. Atta ch the EXTENSION ARMS(14) to the PIVOT CONNECTOR(10) with the LOCKING K NOBS(13). STEP 7 Install two AA batteries into the METER(37), two batteries included.
ASSEMBL Y INSTRUCTIONS 11 STEP 8 Slide the SEA T ASSEMBL Y(42, 43) onto the CENTER BEAM(1). Atta ch the SEA T STOPPERS(3) to the ba ck end of the CENTER BEAM(1) with BUTTON HEAD BOL TS(M8x1.25x25mm)(53). Also, plea se verify that the other SEA T STOPPERS(3) at the front end of the CENTER BEAM(1) are a ssembled at the fa ctory .
USING THE FIT NESS METER OPERA TIONAL INSTRUCTIONS 12 Function Button: Power off : Power on : Function s: Seat move ment or push the button. Automatic shut off after 4 minute s of ina ctivity . Press a nd relea se to select functions. Press a nd hold for two seconds to re set all functions to zero, except TOT AL COUNT .

Speci al attention should be given to the following: MAINTENANCE LOAD ADJUSTMENT The resista nce of the shocks ca n be adjusted by twisting the adjustment knob at the top of the shocks.
T o store the BODYTRAC TM si mply kee p it in a clea n dry pla ce. T o avoid da mage to the electronics meter , remove the batteries bef ore storing the BODYTRAC TM for one year or more. Gra sp the Front and Re ar Stabilizer to move the BODYTRAC TM . Do not use the Seat to move the BODYTRAC TM .
15 CONDITIONING GUIDELINES How you begin your exercise progra m depends on your physical condition. If you have been ina ctive for several years or are severely overwe ight, start slowly a nd increa se your workout time gra dually . Increa se your workout intensity gra dually by monitoring your heart rate while you exercise.
16 W ARM-UP a nd COOL-DOW N W arm-Up The purpose of warming up is to pre pare your body for exercise a nd to minimize in juries. Warm up for two to f ive minutes bef ore strength training or aerobic exercising. Perform a ctivities that raise your heart rate a nd warm the working muscles.
