1 6 2A. Device Basics Notifications P anel When you get a new notification, you can open the Notifications panel to see the message, reminder or ev ent notification. The Notifications pane l lets y ou quickly switch betw een r ecently opened ap ps, and also lets you easily turn on sett ings such as 4G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
2A. Device Basics 1 7 Device Basics T o switch between recently opened apps: On the Notifications panel, you can easily access up to eight apps you just r ecently opened. 1. Open the Notificat ions panel. 2. In the Recent applications section, slide your finger lef t or right to see r ecently opened apps.

With the de vice turned off, insert a c oin or other flat object into the slot at the bot tom of the battery compartment cover and lift up g ently to r emov e. 2. Insert the conta ct end of the battery first, and then gently push the battery into place.
20 2A. Devic e Basics Charging the Battery K eeping track of your battery’s charge is important. If your batt ery lev el becomes to o low , your device automatically turns off, and you will lose an y information you wer e just working on.

Ta p When you want to type using the onscr een ke yboar d, select items on the scr een such as application and settings icons or buttons, simply tap them with your finger .
