Setting Up a VPN If you w ant to use y our smart device to access y our corpor ate email acc ount, y ou may need to set up a VPN (vir tual private network). 15 Exchange Server Setting Up Y our Smart Device for an Ex change Ser ver 1. On your device, press Po wer / En d to wak e up the screen, and then pr ess Center to turn off Key g u a r d . 2. Press Phone/ T alk to go to your To d a y screen. 3. If you see Phone Off in the upper -left corner , press and hold Power/ End to tu rn on you r p h on e .

(Optional) If you selected Advanced in step 12, do any of the f ollowing: 䡲 Check the first box to encr ypt outgoing email messages. 䡲 Check the second box to sign outgoing messages. 䡲 Select Choose Certificate and select a certificate needed for y our SSL connection.
21 Exchange Server (When the setup is complete, you can synchronize to retrieve email messages. Y ou can also set up a sync schedule to aut omatically retrieve messages.

23 Exchange Server Installing a Security Certificate If your SSL c onnection requires a security ce rtificate, foll ow thes e steps to install the requir ed cer tificate from y our computer to your de vice. 1. On your computer , browse to the certificate file, right -click the fi le, and then select Cop y .
