T o ensure a proper heart rate display , the chest transmitter must be properly adjusted.
9 MAIN OPERA TING MODES The Sportline Duo 1010 Heart Rate Watch has 4 main operating modes: T ime, Heart Rate/ Chronograph, Memory and Countdown T imer . Scroll through modes by PRESSING the MODE key. Y ou may acquire Finger T ouch Heart Rate by TOUCHING & HOLDING both the upper and lower Heart Rate Sensors in any operating mode.

11 SETTING THE W A TCH FUNCTIONS SETTING TIME AND USER PROFILE In this Programming Sequence, you will program the watch’ s Time & Calendar functions as well as set your User Profile. This sequence must be completed to ensure accuracy of the watch’ s functions.
12 Duo 1010 Dual-Use Heart Rate Monitor SETTING THE W A TCH FUNCTIONS SETTING USER PROFILE The Sportline Duo 1010 Heart Rate Watch uses an advanced algorithm based on your User Profile to estimate your maximum heart rate and calculate other heart rate information.
13 SETTING THE W A TCH FUNCTIONS HEART RA TE T ARGET ZONES The Sportline Duo 1010 Heart Rate Watch allows you to select from 3 preset Heart Rate T arget Zones (AEROBIC, FA T BURN and HEAL TH) and 1 user-defined T arget Zone. The watch tracks time IN, ABOVE and BELOW T arget Zone during exercise.

15 SETTING THE W A TCH FUNCTIONS SETTING DAIL Y ALARM The Sportline Duo 1010 Heart Rate Watch features a Daily Alarm. T o set Alarm: 1. T o access Daily Alarm, PRESS & HOLD the ST ART/STOP (S/S) key in Time mode. 2. T urn Alarm ON or Off by PRESSING the ST ART/STOP (S/S) or RESET (R) key.
16 Duo 1010 Dual-Use Heart Rate Monitor SETTING THE W A TCH FUNCTIONS SETTING THE COUNTDOWN TIMER The Sportline Duo 1010 Heart Rate Watch is equipped with a 10-hour Countdown T imer . T o set Timer: 1. PRESS & HOLD the MODE key in T imer mode. 2. Adjust Hours by PRESSING the ST ART/STOP (S/S) or RESET (R) key.
17 OPERA TING HEART RA TE/CHRONOGRAPH MODE The Sportline Duo 1010 Heart Rate Watch is equipped with a 10-hour , 25-lap Chronograph. This is the primary Heart Rate mode which tracks and displays all heart rate information. Chronograph time is displayed in the upper display line.
18 Duo 1010 Dual-Use Heart Rate Monitor OPERA TING THE W A TCH OPERA TING HEART RA TE/CHRONOGRAPH MODE (continued) The monitor is equipped with a 10-hour , 25-lap Chronograph. Resolution is 1/100 second for the first 59 minutes 59.99 seconds and 1 second after that.
19 OPERA TING THE W A TCH HEART RA TE SUB MODES The Sportline Duo 1010 Heart Rate Watch has 8 Heart Rate sub modes that feature detailed heart rate feedback. Scroll through sub modes by PRESSING the RESET key in Heart Rate/Chronograph mode. If Chest Strap T ransmitter is used, lower line will display current heart rate.
20 Duo 1010 Dual-Use Heart Rate Monitor OPERA TING THE W A TCH CHRONOGRAPH MEMORY The monitor has a Memory mode that allows you to view detailed lap feedback from your last workout. NOTE: Chronograph must not be reset to view exercise data. 1. Scroll to Memory Mode by PRESSING the MODE key.
21 OPERA TING THE W A TCH VIEWING THE BACKLIGHT SYSTEM The monitor is equipped with an electroluminescent (EL) Backlight System for viewing the display in low light conditions. T o operate the Backlight System: 1. PRESS the EL key . Backlight will illuminate for approximately 5 seconds.
