5 Ins talla tion/c on nec tion This unit can be installed in any da shboard having an opening as show n on the picture. Th e dashb oard should be ~ 4.5 – 5.
6 Install ati on using th e screw h oles at t he sid es of the unit. Select a position where the screw holes of t he mounting brac ket suppli ed w ith the car a nd the screw holes of the main unit become aligned (ar e fi tted), and tighten the s c r e w s ( s e e ( 4 ) a t 2 p l a c e s o n e a c h s i d e ) .

11 Changing the battery 1. Press the catc h and at the sa me time pull out the battery tra y (pic. 1). 2. I nsert th e 1 x lithium battery, typ e CR2025 (3V) ba ttery with the stamped (+) mark facing upwa rd. Insert the battery tra y into the remote control (pic.
12 Genera l operat ions Reset the U nit Operating the unit for the first time or after replacing the car battery, you must reset the unit. Remove the front panel at first, and then p ress R ESET button on the panel with a pointed object, (such as a ball point pen) to set the unit to initia l state.
13 Turning L oudness On/Of f Keep pressing LOUD button on the RC or on the front panel to activate loud function. You can pr ess this button to increase the low freq uency, which can impro ve sensiti vity for your ears. K eep pressing it again to q uit this function.
14 Mai n menu Note: This unit can be operated by to uching the screen buttons. Thus you can select the menus and chang e the parameters. When the unit i s on, the monitor will display main menu. Press and hold SETUP button on the remo te control or MENU on the head unit, or pr ess MENU on the mon itor to enter the menu.
15 Audio Adjust You can ad just VOLU ME, BAL ANCE, FAD, BASS, TREBLE. For e xampl e, pre ss FA D, th e se tti ng menu wil l appe ar. Press and buttons to ad just the desir ed FAD leve l, pr ess EXIT to exit this menu. Note: Adjusting the other options perfor m the same op eration.

23 DVD operations Glossary PBC (PlayB ack Control) PlayBack Control is a menu record ed on the disc with SV CD o r VCD2.0 format. For the discs conta ined PBC, it can playbac k i nte racti ve sof tware with the me nu di splaye d on TV. And if the di sc contai ns st ill image s, i t can pl ayback high defin itio n of s till ima ge.
24 Stop the playb ack Press STOP butto n, then press E NTER or PAUSE button on the rem ote control or o n the monitor to r esume playing. Fast rewind/f orward Press / buttons on remote control or on the monitor, / on the unit to p erform fa st rewind o r fast for ward .

29 VCD/CD operations Playing a VCD /CD I nsert a VCD/CD disc into the d isc slot, the unit will automatically switch on, if a disc is loaded, pr ess SOURCE to start the playbac k. To eject a VCD/CD press EJECT b utton on the unit, on the remote co ntrol or the monitor.
30 System Switch Press P/ N button on the remo te control to set the TV standa rd to PAL or NTSC or AUTO system. Slow motion playb ack Press button to slow the playb ack. Changing the s ize of the pict ure Press ZOOM button to increase the picture in size.
