29 Setup About Using S VIDEO If the optiona l equipment you ar e connecting has an S VIDEO jack (sho wn at left), you can us e an S VIDEO cable for improv ed picture quality (compared to an A/V cable). Because S VIDEO carries only the video signal, you also need to connect audio cables for sound, as sho wn below .
