5.SCSI Interface SONY AIT -5 drive SDX-1 100V series V er .1.0 5-9 Following target response (1) above, the implied agreem ent for wide data transfers shall be considered to be negated by both the initiator and the target if it the initiator asserts A TN and the first message out is eithe r MESSAGE P ARITY ERROR or MESSAGE REJECT .
5.SCSI Interface 5-10 SONY AIT -5 drive SDX-1 100V series V er .1.0 5.3.6. INITIATOR DETECTED ERROR (05h) This message is sent from an initiator to inform a target that an error (e.g.: parity error) has occurred that does not prevent the target from re -trying the operation.
5.SCSI Interface SONY AIT -5 drive SDX-1 100V series V er .1.0 5-1 1 5.3.11. BUS DEVICE RESET (0Ch) This message is sent from an initiator to direct a ta rget to clear all current commands. Upon recognizing this message, the currently executing command will be aborted and the drive will proceed to the B US FREE state.
5.SCSI Interface 5-12 SONY AIT -5 drive SDX-1 100V series V er .1.0 5.4. Status Specification A Status byte is sent from the drive to the Host during the ST A TUS phase at the termination of each comm.
5.SCSI Interface SONY AIT -5 drive SDX-1 100V series V er .1.0 5-13 10h INTERMEDIA TE GOOD: This status is returned for every command in a series of linked commands (except the last command), unless an error , exception or abnormal condition causes a CHECK CONDITION status or RESERV A TION CO NFLICT status to be set.
