17 Using the Remo te Co ntrol and Basic Functions Although the Sat ellite R eceiver ’ s r emote control is pr eset to operate Sony brand TVs, you can pro gram the remote contro l to operate other manu facturer ’ s TVs. This wi ll enable you to operate yo ur TV when viewing regular broadcast TV using the remote control.
