2 About this Manual This manual provides instructions to help you enjoy your new TV . It shows you how to connect to an antenna or ca ble, cable box, VCR, DVD, sa tellite receiver , stereo system, or camcorder . Once you’re connected, follow the instructions and use the re mote control to access the on-scr een menus.

7 Connections Connecting Ad ditional Equipment TV and VCR 1 Connect the coaxial cable fr o m your TV antenna or cable service to the IN jack on your VCR. 2 Connect a coaxial cable (not su pplied) from the OUT jack on your VCR to the VHF/UHF jack on the TV .

(For Canada, see page 29. ) Movie Rating This system defines the rating levels o f movies shown in theaters and on prime cable channels.

29 Menus Canada : Selecting Custo m Rating Options For Canada , the Custom Rating menu includes the following options: Englis h Rating, French Rating , and U.S.A. Rating. English R ating These ratings ar e for Canadian programs that ar e broadcast in English.
