6 FE-2 SELF DIAGNOSTIC SOFTW ARE The identification of errors within the FE-2 chassis is triggered in one of two ways :- 1: Busy or 2: Device failure to respond to IIC.
7 8 First Time Operation MENU Your TV is now ready for use 5 A new menu appears on the screen asking you to check that the aerial is connected. Ensure the aerial is connected and then press the OK button to start the automatic tuning. The TV starts to automatically search and store all available channels (TV Broadcast) for you.

19 3-3. Focus Adjustment 1. Receive a television broadcast signal. 2. Normalize the picture setting. 3. Adjust the focus control located on the flyback transformer to obtain the best focus at the centre of the screen. Bring only the centre area of the screen into focus, the magenta-ring appears on the screen.
20 SECTION 4 CIRCUIT ADJUSTMENTS 4-1. Electrical Adjustments Service adjustments to this model can be performed using the supplied Remote Commander RM-887. How to enter into the Service Mode ‘TT—’ will appear in the upper right corner of the screen.
21 Deflection System Adjustment Sub Brightness Adjustment 1. Input a Monoscope pattern. 2. Press ‘TEST’ ‘TEST’ 13 on the Remote Commander . 3. Adjust the ‘Sub-Brightness’ data so that there is barely a difference between the 0 IRE and 10 IRE signal levels.
