2O v e r v i e w • Enhanced Data Rates for Global Evolution (EDGE) EDGE enhances GPRS by increasing data throug hput over GPRS by as much as three times, depending upon the network radio signal strength an d quality. GPRS networks that are enhanced with EDGE are often referred to as Enhanced GPRS (E-GPRS) networks.
Overview 3 The external antenna connector is an MMCX pattern. The PC300 is a 3.3 volt PC card and has mechanical keying to prevent inse rtion in older 5 volt only PCMCIA slots. Laptops 'Designed for W indow s 98' and onwards have 3.3 volt support.
