When you conn ect using t he SCAR T (EUR O A V) cord, che ck that th e TV conforms to S v id eo o r RGB sign als. Re fer to the o pera tin g instru ctio ns sup p lie d wit h the TV to be co nnect ed.

If the DVD VIDEO is recorded in multiple audio formats (PCM, Dolby Digital, MPEG audio , or DTS), yo u can select t he audio format you want while playing the DVD VIDEO.

60 TVS STANDARD Uses s ound imaging to c reate virtua l rea r speakers fro m the soun d of the fro nt speakers (L, R) withou t using a ctual rear sp eakers. The virtual speak ers are reproduce d as shown in the illustration below. Use this setting when you want to use TVS with 2 sep arate speake rs and retain the soun d qua lity .
Sound Adjustment s 61 VIRTUAL MULTI DIMENSION Uses sound im aging to create an arr ay of vi rtual rear speaker posi tions high er than the list ener from a single pa ir of actua l rear spea kers. This m ode creates five sets of virtual speakers surro unding th e listener at approx im ately a 30 ° a ngle o f elevat ion.

66 Enhanc ing th e Play back Pict ure (DIGIT AL VI DEO ENHAN CER) The Dig ita l Vide o E nhancer functio n mak es the picture ap pear clear and crisp by enhancin g the outlines of images on your TV screen. Also, this function ca n soften the images on th e scree n.
