Shooting still images Shooting and viewing images GB 47 Shooting techn iques • When you turn the macro switching ring to “0,2m-0,3 5m,” the camera is set to macro mode. The shortest shooting distance is approximately 0 .2 m (0.65 ft. ). Macro mode is suitable for shooting close-ups of subjects such as flowers or food.

You can disable the sound recording by setting [Audio Recording] to [Off] (page 29). • The continuous recording time of a movie depends on the ambient temperature or the conditio n of the c amera.
