2 PREC A U TIONS z Do not use the monitor near w a ter, e.g. near a bathtub, w ashbo w l, kitchen sink, laundry tub, s w imming pool or in a w e t basement. z Do not place the monitor on an unstable cart, stand, or table. If the monitor falls, it can injure a person and c ause serious damage to the appliance.
3 SPECI A L NOTES ON LCD MONITORS T he follo w ing s y mptoms are normal w ith LCD monitor and do not indicate a problem. NOTES • Due to the nature of the fluores c ent light, the screen may flicker during initial use. T u rn off the Po w e r S w i t ch and then turn it on again to make sure the flicker disappears.

6 ADJUSTING THE VIEWING ANGLE • F o r optimal vie w ing it is recommended to look at the full face of the monitor, then adjust the monitor ’ s angle to y our o w n preference. • Hold the stand so y ou do not t opple the monitor w hen y ou change the monitor’s angle.
7 OPER A T ING INSTRUCTIONS GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS Press the po w er button to turn the mon i tor on or off. T he other control buttons are located at front panel of the monitor (See F igure 4). By changing these settings, the picture can be adjus t ed to y our personal preferences.
8 FRONT P A NEL CONTROL • / Po w er Button: Press this button to turn the monitor ON or O FF , And display the monitor’s state. • Po w er Indicator: Green — Po w e r On mode. Orange — Stand by mode. • MENU / ENTER : Activate OSD menu w hen OSD is O F F or activate/de-activate adjustment function w hen OSD is ON.
9 HOW TO ADJUST A SETTING 1. Press the MENU-button to activate the OSD w indo w . 2. Press < or > to select the desired function. 3. Press the MENU-button to select the function that y ou w ant to adjust. 4. Press < or > to change the s e ttings of the current function.
