Wha t Y ou Can Do with the 3D F unc tion This V AIO computer comes with the ex citing new 3D func tion that allows quick and easy playback of various types of 3D content . 3D Playback Enjoy a new 3D experience by pla ying various types of 3D content (such as Blu-ray 3D™ Disc media and 3D photos).
3 Simulated 3D F unction (2D to 3D Con version) 2D to 3D con version is an easy task for your c omputer . Enjoy your 2D conten t (such as Blu-ray Disc™ media, DVDs, and r ecorded videos) in simulated 3D using the simula ted 3D function. ( The effect applies only to images display ed on the computer screen.
4 Safety Information V iewing 3D images Be sure to follo w the instructions in the manuals that came with your V AIO computer when viewing 3D images. Some people may experience discomfort (such as eye strain, fatigue , or nausea) while watching 3D video images or using stereoscopic 3D-relat ed soft ware .
5 Correct posture f or viewing 3D images Always w ear the supplied 3D glasses while viewing 3D images. Adjust the angle of the L CD screen so that your eyes are perpendicular to y our computer screen and keep a distance of 2 f eet (60 cm) or more from the scr een.
6 Befor e Using the 3D F unc tion Y ou first need to configure the initial settings for the 3D function. Charging the ba tter y T o prevent battery deterioration, charge the battery at least once every six to twelve months. 1 T urn off the 3D glasses.
7 Configuring the initial settings for NVIDIA 3D Vision After you turn on your comput er for the first time and set up Windows , the initial settings wizard for the 3D function (NVIDIA 3D Vision) appears. Click Y es to start the initial settings wizard.
8 Using the 3D F unc tion Y ou can play content specially made for 3D playback (such as Blu-ray 3D Disc media). Y ou can also use the simulated 3D function to view 2D content (such as DVDs and videos) in simulated 3D . Be sure to connect the AC adapter t o your computer when playing 3D content.
9 Viewing 3D phot os or videos 1 Start the sof tware that supports 3D photo or video playback. 2 Start 3D photo or video playback. 3 T urn on the 3D glasses and wear them. 4 Press the 3D butt on on your computer . The 3D indicator light turns on during 3D playback.
10 Adjusting the 3D settings Y ou can adjust the 3D effect with the V AIO Contr ol Center . 1 Click Start , All Programs , and V AIO Contr ol Center . 2 Click 3D Effect Settings in the left pane of the window . 3 Adjust the 3D effect. 3D depth adjustment Automatically adjusts the depth of 3D images according t o the L CD screen size.
11 4 Press the F n + F7 keys to change the display output to only an external display . 5 Click Start , All Programs , C orel , and Cor el WinD VD BD . WinD VD BD 3D star ts. 6 Inser t Blu-ray 3D Disc media int o the optical disc drive. Playback automatically starts.
12 3D Glasses P ar ts and components Pow er button Po wer on: Pr ess once. Po wer off : Hold down the pow er button for more than two seconds .
13 T roubleshooting What should I do if 3D images ar e not display ed or the 3D effect is less pronounced on m y computer screen? When you view 3D images on your computer , make sure the 3D indicator light on the computer turns on. When you view 3D images on your computer , press the 3D button on the computer .
14 P recautions About the 3D glasses The 3D glasses operate b y receiving infrared ra ys from the 3D sync transmitter . The performance may be affected if: the 3D glasses do not face the 3D sync transmitter . there are obstacles between the 3D sync transmitter and the 3D glasses.
