INTRODUCTION Thank you for pur chasing the Sonamp® 275 SE/275X3 SE. These amps incorporate Sonance ’ s exclusiv e SA T™ (Smart Amp T echnolog y) module that allows y ou to customize the amplifier t o the installation by simply r emoving two screws on the back panel and inserting the desired module.

4 Input Connections ( Figure 1 , #1 0) Input signal is connected via the R and L R CA Input jacks. Mak e sure these ar e consistent with the R and L outputs from y our preamplifier or sour ce device. Output Connections ( Figure 1 , #1 0) The BBE SA T module includ ed with the 275 SE/ 275X3 SE incl ud es b uffered R and L RCA output jacks.
5 External V oltage Mode (Aut o-On Switch"External Volt" Position) The 275 SE/275X3 SE also featur e a remo vable voltage input c onnector t o connect other electronics with voltage c ontrol outputs.
BBE ® CONNECTIONS AND OPERA TION 1. Status LEDs: Illuminate to sho w if the BBE process is ON, and how much processing (+6dB or +9dB) is being applied. 2. BBE ON/OFF switch: In the OFF EXT . position, BBE proc essing is bypassed; in the ON position BBE processing is applied.

8 When the AL1 no longer detects an audio signal from the iP od it automatically switches to the CD play er input and remo ves the +12V c ontrol v oltage. When the c ontrol v oltage is remo ved the BBE module switches the BBE processing off. The BBE module has a second c ontrol voltage input (the BOOST LE VEL EXT .
AL1 Module ( Figures 9 & 10 ) The AL1 — A ut omatic Line-Level S witcher — module has a default input as well as a sensing input. When signal is detected at the sensing input, that signal is fed to the amplifier as well as its output jacks. At the same time a 12V DC control signal is present on the re movable screw c onnector .
