3 SPEC IFICA TIONS • The cooling capacity is m easured at an am bient temperature of DB 86 °F, WB 78 °F. • Noise level is measured at a distance of 3.28 ft away from the front of the unit, when the unit is in cooling mode. • Power consum ption is m easured when t he fan runs at the highe st speed sett ing.

5 INST ALLA TION SELECTING THE LOCATION Place the unit in a flat location where the air out- lets are not obstructed. Place the unit at least 20” (50cm) away from a wall or other obstacle. MOUNTING THE EXHAUST HOSE Slide the square end of the exhaust duct over the hot air outlet on the back of the unit.
6 LCDI POWER CORD AND PLUG This air conditioner is equipped with an LCDI (Leakage Current Detec tion and Interruption) power cord and plug as required by US National Electric Code 440.65. This cord consists of a length of shielded flexible cord with no termination on the lo ad side and a LCDI attachm ent plug on the line side.
7 WINDOW KIT INSTALLATION The window kit is designed to fit into most standard vertical and horizontal windows, as well as some sliding glass doors. However, it may be necessary to modify some aspects of the installation process for certain window types.

10 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS CONTROL PANEL BUTTONS (Re fer to the images on page 9) 1) Power On and Off - Press the POWER button once to manually turn the unit on.
11 6) Select the desired fan speed by pressing the SPEED button. NOTE: During hot days, the unit will cool the room most efficiently by setting the te mperature at the lowest setting and the fan speed on high.
12 Auto Mode 1) Install the exhaust hoses and wi ndow kit properly (see pages 7 & 8). 2) Plug the Power Cord into an electrical outlet. 3) Turn on the unit by pressing the POWER button on the control panel. 4) Press the MODE button until the “ ” icon appears on the control panel disp lay.
13 AIR PURIFIER FUNCTION This portable air conditioner is equippe d with a HEPA air purific ation mode. This mode is only available when the HEPA air filter has been inserted in to the Air Filter Holder. Please note, wh en the air filter is inserted into the air cleaner, the unit will ONLY operate in air purifier m ode.

15 REMOTE CONTROL OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 1) Power On and Off - Press the POWER ( I/O ) button on to turn the unit on or off When you press the POWER button (when turning the unit on) the upper right square on the remote control LCD Display will light up.
16 Emergency Condensate Holding Tank When the room temperature is low and the indoor hum id ity is high, the air conditioner may not be able to evaporate some of the moisture fast enough. W hen this happens, the water will accumulate in an emergency condensate tank inside the unit.
17 MAINTENANCE Note: Make sure power is off and the power cord is not plugged into an el ectrical outlet prior to performing any maintenance on the unit. Clean or replace particulate air filter (Black Mesh Filte r) - If the air filter is block ed with a dust, the air- flow volume may reduce.
18 W ARRANTY One Year Limited Warranty Soleus International Inc. warrants the ac companying Soleus Air Portable Air Cond itioner to be free of defects in mate- rial and workmanship for the applications specified in its operation instruction for a period of ONE (1) year from the date of original retail purchase in the United States.
