2 Thank you for choosing a Soleus Air personal heater. This owner’ s manual wil l provide you with valuable infor mation necessar y for the proper care and maintenance of your new product.
3 PRODUCT INFOR M A T ION & SPECIFICA TIONS Reflective heating technology replicates the sun’s healthy rays, directly warming the object or person in front of the heater. As the temperature of the heated surface rises, the warming effect is felt throughout the air and surrounding areas.
4 PRODUCT DI AGRA M Tip-Over Safety Switch This heater is equipped with a tip-over safety switch located underneath the base of th e heater. This switch must be pressed inward for the heater to function properly. Some soft surfaces such as carpet ma y not be able to fully press in this switch.
5 A S SEMBL Y Remove the heater body, two base pieces, and fastening screw from the box. Remove the packaging materials and keep for future storage. Lay the heater body on a level surface. To assemble the base, insert the 6 round peg s o f base B into the round holes of base A until you hear a clicking noise.
6 OPERA TING INSTRUCT IONS 1. Place the heater on a firm, level surface and plug into a grounded 115V 60Hz power outlet. 2. Press the ON/OFF button once to turn on the heater. The POWER indicator light will turn on. To shut the heater off, press the ON/OFF button once more.
7 MAINT EN ANCE 1. Unplug the unit and let it cool completely. 2. To keep the heater clean, the outer shell may be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth. You may use a mild detergent if necessary. After cleaning, dry the unit with a soft cloth. CAUTION: DO NOT let liquid enter the heater.
8 W AR R ANTY One Year Limited Warranty Soleus International I nc. warrants the accom panying Soleus Air heater to be f ree of defects in materia l and workman- ship for the applicat ions specified in its operation i nstruction for a period of ONE (1) year from the date of original re- tail purchase in the Un ited States.
