POWER CORD AND PLUG 4 WARNING This unit has a grounde d three pronged plug intende d to fit into a three slot outlet. (A) An adapter is available for connecting three pronged plugs into two sl ot outlets. (B) When doing so, the green ground- ing tab extending from the adapte r must be fastened under th e wall plate’s mounting screw.

P ARTS & WINDOW KIT ASSEMBL Y PARTS EXHAUST HOSE & ADAPTERS ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION INSTALLATION When the unit is operating as an air conditioner or dehumidi fier, the window kit and exhaust hose must be installed. When the unit is operating in fan mode, the window ki t and exhaust hose do not need to be installed .
7 SINGLE HOSE WINDOW KIT INSTALLATION When installing the exhaust hose, try and keep it as flat as possible. The less angles and bends in the hose, the better the unit will perform. If be nding or an angle is necessary , use single 90 ° angles like the pictures above.

11 REMOTE CONTROL OPERA TING I NSTRUCTIONS The Health Function is not available on this unit. Press the TEMP button to display the current set tem- perature or the actual room temperature. With each press of the TEMP button the display will cycle back and forth.
LIGHT 12 REMOTE CONTROL OPER A TING INSTRUCTIONS In Cooling or Dehumi (DRY) modes: When sleep mode is selected the set temperature will automatically increase 2 ° F af ter 1 hour. After 2 hours, the set tem pera- ture will increase another 2 ° F for a total increase of 4 ° F.
MAINTENANCE Note: Make sure power is off and the power cord is not plugged into an el ectrical outlet prior to performing any maintenance on the unit. Clean or replace filter - If the air fi lter is blocked with a du st, the airflow volume may decrease.
PROBLEM The Air Conditioner will not start POSSIBLE CAUSES The air conditioner is unplu gged or not connected well. The fuse is blown/circuit breaker is tripped.
PROBLEM The LCD Display is showing “E5” POSSIBLE CAUSES Low Voltage Protection SOLUTIONS • Unplug for 10 minutes and then turn on the unit. If “E5” is still dis- played, contact customer service.
