It mu st be kept in its entirety an d in an accessible place f or the whole working lif e of the appliance . The indicator light comes on to indicate t hat the ov en is heating up .

16 Instructions f or the user 7.4 Glass lid (on some models only) The toughened glass lid with aluminium edging protects the hob when not in use. Make sure ne v er to come into contact with the lid glass with pots or pans that are still hot. The glass could crac k and break with the heat.

During cooking, do not cov er the bottom of th e ove n with aluminium or tin f oil and do not place pans or ov en tra ys on it as this ma y damage the enamel coating.

27 Instructions f or the user 9.6.2 Settin g the assisted c leaning cycle Once the prep arations ha ve been made for the assisted cleaning cycle, proceed as f ollo ws: 1 T ur n the functio n knob to the symbol and the temper ature selection knob to the symbol f or the V APOR CLEAN function.
28 Instructions f or the user 10. EXTRA ORDINAR Y MAINTENANCE The o ven req uires periodic minor maintenance or repl acement of par ts subject to w ear , such as gask ets, light b ulbs, etc. Specific instructions f or each operation of this kind are given be low .
29 Instructions f or the user 10.3 Removing the door seal ( not on p yrolitic models) T o permit thorough cleaning of the ov en, the door se al may be remov ed. There are f asteners on all f our sides to attach it to the edge of the ov en. Pull the edges of the seal out wards to detach the f asteners.
30 Instructions f or the installer 11. INST ALLA TION 11.1 Installing in kitchen units V eneers, ad hesives or plastic coating s on adjacent furniture should be tempera ture-resistant (no less than 90°C). If t hey are not sufficiently temperature-resist ant, they may w ar p ov er time.
31 Instructions f or the installer 11.2 Room ventilation and combustion e xtraction The room containing the appliance should be pe r manently v entilated in accordance with the standards in f orce.

34 Instructions f or the installer Connect to the a ppliance using a BS 669 compliant bay onet hose. The connector , at the bac k of the appliance, has a 1/2” BSP e xter nal thread. Apply insula ting material to the thread of the gas pipe connector 4 and then tig hten the adapter 3 to it as indicated in th e figure.
35 Instructions f or the installer 11.5 Electrical connection Make sure the voltage and the cross-section of the pow er supply line match the specifications indi cated on the identificati on plate positioned on the applia nce. Do not remo ve this p late for any reason.
