ADJUSTING THE WATER SOFTENING SYSTEM Depending on mode l, the setting may be made electronically or by means of a selector switch . ELECTRONIC SETTING (models with display) N.B.: for the settin g below to be possible, a washing pr ogram other than the soak prog ram must be s et.
SWITCH SETTING (models without display) According to the machin e model, the se lector which acts on the adjustment may be locate d: • inside t he plastic lo cking ring located on the right-hand s ide, inside the dishw asher; • inside t he water softe ner, just below the cap.
If the door has to be opene d while washi ng is in progress, the program will be in terrupted. The r elative light w ill keep flashing and a beeper will signal t hat the cycle has not been c ompleted. You m ust wait about 1 minute before closing the door to restart the program.

Installation instructions CONNECTING TO THE WATER SUPPLY Connect th e intake hose t o a cold w ater supply w ith ¾” gas threa d, inserting the filter A supp lied with the dishwash er. Ta ke care to screw the hose firmly into place with y our hands and then c omplete by tightening about ¼ of a turn with pliers.

User instructions ADDING THE RINSE AID The rinse aid helps the dishes dry faster and prevents the formatio n of scale depos its and staining; it is automat ically added to the water during the fin al rinse cyc le, from the cont ainer situated on t he inner si de of the door .

The relati vely high w ater temperatures and the detergent s used may damag e them.

User instructions LOWER BASKET The low er basket receiv es the full fo rce of the low er spray arm, an d should theref ore be used f or the “toughest” items with a heavier degree of soiling.
User instructions CUTLERY BASKET The cutler y should be arr anged in an orderly manner inside the bas ket, with the ha ndles pointing downw ards. Take care during loadin g to avoid injury from t he knife blade s. The basket is suitabl e for all types of cutlery , except those long e nough to int erfere with the upper spray arm.
User instructions UPPER BASKET It is recom mended to lo ad the upper basket with small- or medi um-sized items s uch as gl asses, smal l plates, tea or coffee cup s, shallow bow ls and light object s made fro m heat resistant plastic.
