Introduction 1. INSTRUCTIONS FOR SAFE AND PR OPER USE THIS MANUAL IS AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE APPLIANCE AND THEREFORE MUST BE KEPT IN ITS ENTIRETY AND IN A N ACCESSIBLE PLACE FOR THE WHOLE WORKING LIFE OF THE OVEN. WE ADVISE CAREFUL READING OF THIS MANUAL AN D ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS THEREIN BEFORE USING THE OVEN.
Introduction ALWAYS CHECK THAT THE CONTROL KNOBS ARE IN THE “ZERO” (OFF) POSITION WHEN YOU FINISH USING THE OVEN. NEVER PUT INFLAMMABLE OBJECTS IN THE OVEN: THEY COULD BE ACCIDENTALLY CATCH LIGH T AND CAUSE FIRES. DURING USE THE APPLIANCE BECOMES VERY HOT.

Instructions for the installer 32 2.2 Installing the oven The oven is designed for installati on into any piece of furniture as long as it is heat-resistant. Proceed accordi ng to the dimensions shown in Fig ures 1 , 2 and 3 . For installing under a work top, follow the dimensio ns given in Figure 3 .
Instructions for the installer 33 Never use the oven door to lever the oven into place when fitting. Avoid exerting too much pres sure on the oven do or when open. 2.3 Connecting the hob to the oven Once installed, the hob must be connec ted to the oven.
Instructions for the user 34 3. DESCRIPTION OF CONTROLS 3.1 Front control panel All the oven controls are grou ped together o n the front panel. The user has only to press the central key for 1 - 2 seconds to enabl e use of the oven on first use or after a power blackout.
Instructions for the user 35 THERMOSTAT INDICATOR LIGHT (ORANGE) When this light comes on, the oven is he ating up. When this light goes out , the preset heating temperature has been reache d. When the light flashes, th e temperature inside the oven is steady.

Instructions for the user 37 3.2.2 Minute-minder This function does not stop cookin g but just triggers the beeps. - When the key is pressed the display illuminates, appearing as s hown in figure 1; - Press the or keys within 6/7 seconds to set the minute-minder.
Instructions for the user 38 3.2.3 Programming Cooking duration time: the 2 nd button can be used to set the cooking time. Before setting it, turn the thermostat to the cook ing temperature of choice and the function selector knob to any setting.
Instructions for the user 39 Cooking start: as well as setting a cook ing duration time, the user c an also set the cooking start time (up to 12 hours after the current time). To set the cooking start/end time, proceed as follows. - Set the cooking durati on time as described in the previous point.

Chrome shelf: useful for holding cooking vessels. Grill mesh: for placing above grill pa n to allow juices to drip into pan below .
Instructions for the user 42 6. COOKING HINTS In fan-assisted mode preheating s hould be carried o ut at 30/40°C above the cooking temperature. This consi derably shortens cooking times and reduces power consumption, as well as giving better cooking results.
Instructions for the user 43 Multiple cooking is possi ble as long as the cooking temperature of the different foods is the same. 6.3 Grill cooking FUNCTION SWITCH THERMOSTAT SWITCH . Permits rapid browning of foods. You are advised to plac e the pan in the highest position.

Instructions for the user 47 7. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE Before carrying out any maintenance, switch off the power supply to the machine. 7.1 Cleaning stainless steel To keep stainless steel in good cond ition it should be cleaned regularl y after use.
Instructions for the user 48 • Clean the oven gril l and side guides with hot water and non-abrasive detergent. Rinse and dry. • The oven should be oper ated at t he maximum temperature for about 15/20 minutes after using specific pr oducts, to eliminate the residues deposited inside the oven.
