30 Instructions f or the installer 8. INST ALLING THE APPLIANCE 8.1 P ositioning in the counter top This is a class 3 appliance. The follo wing operation require s building and/or car pentr y work, therefore it must be carried out by a skilled technician.
31 Instructions f or the installer T o fix the hob solidly to the counter top u se the 10 supplied brackets , tightening their screws to lock the product firmly in po sition. The follo w ing figures show ho w to attach these br ack ets to the low er casing of th e product.
32 Instructions f or the installer 8.1.2 Fixing to the electri c model support structure Create an openi ng in the cou nter top with the dime nsions shown in the figure, keeping a minim um distance of 50 mm from the rear edge. The lower part of the casing must be fully acce ssible after the appliance has been installed.
