Instructions f or saf e and pr oper use THIS MANUAL IS AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE APPLIANCE AND THEREFORE MUST BE KEPT IN IT S ENTIRETY AND IN AN ACCESSIBLE PLACE FOR THE WHOL E WORKING LIFE OF THE COOKING HOB. Instructions for the installer 20 2. P ositioning of hob The following op eration requires buildin g and/or ca rpentry work so must b e carried out by a competent tradesman. Installation can be carried out on various materials such as ma sonry, metal, solid wood or plastic laminated wood as lon g as they are heat resistant (T 90° C).
Instructions for the installer 21 Carefully position the insul ation gasket (supplied) on the e xternal perimeter of the hole made in the top surfa ce (see figures bel ow) and try to make it stick to the entire surface by applying light pre ssure with your hands.

Instructions for the installer 23 4. Gas connection If the appliance is installed on an oven, the gas pi pe must not be passed along t he back of the oven, as this may cause overheating.
Instructions for the installer 24 4.1 Connection to LPG Use a pressure regulator and m ake the connection to the tank according to the provisions of standard s regulations in force. Make sure that feed pressure conforms t o the levels shown in the table in Section “5.
Instructions for the installer 25 5. Adapting to different types of gas Before performing any cleaning or mainte nance work, detach the hob fr om the electrical socket. The hob has been inspect ed for G20 (2H) natural gas at a pressu re of 20 mbar. For functioning with other t ypes of gas t he nozzles must be re placed and the primary air adjusted.
Instructions for the installer 26 5.2 Regulation fo r LPG Loosen screw C and push air re gulator D to the bottom. With a 7 mm wrench, remove nozzle E and replace it with the proper one (follow the instructions on the referen ce tables for the type of gas to be used).

Instructions for the user 30 7. Using the hob Check that the flame cap c rowns, the burner caps and grids are correctly assembled. Pins A of the flame cap crowns must be inserted in housings B of the burner rings, and pins C on the grids must be blocked in their respective housings on the hob.
Instructions for the user 31 8. Cleaning and maintenance Never use a steam jet to clean th e appliance. Before any inter vention, disconnect the power su pply of the device. 8.1 Cleaning stainless steel To keep the hob in good condition, yo u should clean it after ev ery use (after it has cooled).
