Installation instructions 2. Installation and hook-up Remove th e polystyrene bas ket retainers. Position the appl iance in the desired place of installation. The ba ck or sides of t he dishw asher may be placed u p against w alls or other furniture units.
Installation instructions CONNECTING TO THE WATER SUPPLY Connect th e intake hose to a cold water supply with ¾” gas threa d, inserting the filter A supplied with the dishwash er. Ta ke care to scre w the hose firml y into place with y our hands and then compl ete by tightening about ¼ of a turn with pliers.
User instructions 3. Operating instructions Once the di shwasher has be en correctly installe d, prepare for use as follows: • Adjust the w ater softening sy stem; • Add the regenera ting salt; • Add the rinse a id and detergent.
User instructions • Do not use table salt as it cont ains inso luble substan ces which, over time, m ay damage the wa ter softening syst em. • When neces sary, refill the regen erating salt container bef ore starting the washi ng program .
User instructions ADDING THE RINSE AID The rinse aid helps the dis hes dry faster and prevents the formatio n of scale deposits and staining; it is automat ically added to the water during the fin al rinse cycle, fr om the container situated on t he inner side of the door.
User instructions ADDING THE DETERGENT To open the de tergent dispen ser cap, lightly press the button P . Add the detergent and clos e the cap carefully.

User instructions LOADING THE LOWER BASKET Carefully load flat plates, s oup plates, de ssert and serving d ishes, positioning them v ertically . Pots, pans and their covers must b e loaded upside d own. W hen loa ding soup p lates and dessert bowls, be sure to leave a gap between them.
User instructions UPPER BASKET It is recom mended to load t he upper basket w ith small- or medium-siz ed items s uch as glas ses, small plate s, tea or coffee cups, shallow bowls and light objects made from heat re sistant plast ic.
