Installation instructions 7 2. Installation and hook-up Remove the po lystyrene basket reta iners. Position t he applian ce in the de sired plac e of instal lation. The back or sides o f the di shwasher may be place d up against w alls or other furniture u nits.
Installation instructions 8 2.1 Water supply connection Preventing the risk of clogging or damage: if the w ater pipe is new or has not been used for a long tim e, before connecting to the water supply check that the water is cl ear and free of impurities, to prevent damage to the appliance.

11 1. Description of the controls 1.1 Upper panel All the dishw asher controls are grouped on the upper panel. Switch-on, programming, switch-o ff etc. proce dures are only possible w hen the door is open. 1 ON/OFF BUTTON Pressing this button ener gises the appliance.
User instructions 12 SETTING THE WASHING PROGRAM AND SWITCHING ON To select th e most sui table progra m for the dishe s to be washed refer to the table bel ow, w hich indicates t he most ap propriate progr am according to dish type and degree o f soiling.

15 In the front th ere are one or tw o supports ( depending o n the models) f or small plates (B) . To use them, they hav e to be turned towards the front of the dishw asher.
User instructions 16 Before starting a washing pro gram make sure that: • The water su pply tap is op en. • The correct amount of detergent has been added to the dispenser . • The baskets have been cor rectly loaded. • The spray arm s are able to rotate freely and without obstruct ion.
User instructions 17 SELECTING HALF LOAD WASH This functio n is ideal for small loa ds and saves water and elec tricity. It is controlled by the HALF LOAD ( 7 ) butt on: 1) press the button once to se.
User instructions DELAYING THE PROGRAM The PROGRAM DEL AY button (12) can be press ed to delay the start of the program by up to 9 hours. Thi s means th at the dishw asher can be operated a t the time of day of your ch oice.
19 If the door has to be opene d while washi ng is in progress, the program will be in terrupted. The r elative light w ill keep flashing and a beeper will signal that t he cycle has not been c ompleted. Yo u must wait about 1 minute before closing the door to restart the program.
User instructions 20 4. Operating instructions Once the di shwasher ha s been correctly installed, prepare for use as follows: • Add the rin se aid and deter gent.
User instructions 21 ADJUSTING THE RINSE AID DISPENSER SETTING The dishw asher is factory set for medium w ater hardness. How ever it possible to change the setting by turning the di spenser’s sel ector to the desired pos ition: the a mount of rinse aid disp ensed is proportio nal to the selector position.
User instructions 22 • The market off ers liquid and powder det ergents with differ ing chemical compositions , which may co ntain phosphat es , or be phosphate-free but contai n natural enzymes . - Detergents co ntaining phosphates are more effectiv e against grease and st arch at temper atures above 60°C .
User instructions 23 4.2 General warnings and recommendations Before usi ng the d ishwash er for the f irst time, it is advisab le to read the following r ecommendatio ns concern ing dish types to be washed an d their load ing .
User instructions 24 Items which are not dishwasher-safe: • Wooden dishe s, pots or p ans: these m ay be damaged by the high wash ing temperatures . • Handcrafted items: these are r arely suitable for washing in a dishwash er. The relati vely high w ater temperatur es and the detergents us ed may damag e them.
User instructions 25 4.3 Using th e baskets The dishw asher has a capac ity of 14 pl ace- sett in gs , including s erving dishes. LOWER BASKET The low er basket receiv es the full fo rce of the l ower spray arm, an d should theref ore be used f or the “toughest” ite ms with a heavier degree of soiling.
User instructions 26 LOADING THE LOWER BASKET Carefully load flat plates, soup plates, de ssert and s erving dishes, positioning them vertically. Pots , pans and t heir cover s must be load ed upside d own. W hen loading soup p lates and des sert bowls, be sur e to leave a gap between them.
User instructions 27 It can also be separated into two parts . UPPER BASKET It is recom mended to lo ad the upper basket w ith small- or medium-sized items s uch as gl asses, smal l plates, te a or coffee cup s, shallow bowls and light object s made fro m heat resi stant plastic.
User instructions 28 LOADING THE UPPER BASKET Load the d ishes w ith the top side fa cing forw ards; cups and concave container s should alw ays be loaded with the ope ning facing dow n. The left side of t he basket can be loaded w ith cups an d glasses on two levels.
User instructions 29 ADJUSTING THE UPPER BASKET T he upper basket can be adj usted in t wo positions , according to the us er’s needs and accord ing to the he ight of the d ishes in the lower basket. Depending on model s p ro ceed as fol lows : Version A : • pull out the b asket to it s limit posi tion and pull the right side upwards.

CLEANING THE FILTER UNIT • It is advis able to periodi cally inspec t the centre filt er C and, if necessary, to clean it. T o remove the filter, grip the tabs, turn the m anticlockw ise and lift up.
BEFORE STARTING THE DISHWASHER AFTER PROLO NGED DISUSE: • Check that there are no deposit s of sludge or r ust inside the water pipe: if there are, allow the w ater to run from the water supply tap for a few minutes. • Plug the power cord back into the socke t.
If the dishes fail t o dry or remain dull, check that: • there is rins e aid insi de the special container; • the rinse aid dispenser setting is corr ect; • the deterg ent used is of good qua lity and ha s not lost its effectivene ss (for e xample, through incorrect stora ge, with t he box left open).
