Installation instructions 5 2. Inst allation and hook-up Remove the polystyrene b asket retainers. Position the applianc e in the desired place of installati on. The back or sides of the dish washer may b e placed up against walls or other furniture units.
Installation instructions 6 CONNECTING TO THE WATER SUPPLY Connect the intake hos e to a cold water su pply with ¾” gas thread, inserting the filter A suppl ied with the dishwasher. Take care to screw the hose firmly into place w ith your hands and th en complete b y tightening ab out ¼ of a turn w ith pliers .
Installation instructions 7 2.2 Electrical connection and precautions CHECK THAT THE VOLTAGE AND THE FREQUENCY OF THE MAINS MATCH THE RATINGS ON THE NAME PLATE OF THE APPLIANCE POSITIONED ON THE INNER EDGE OF THE DOOR. THE PLUG ON THE SUPPLY CORD AND THE CORRESPONDING SOCKET OUTLET MUST BE OF THE SAME TYPE AND MEET THE REGULATIONS IN FORCE.

User instructions 9 3. Description of the controls 3.1 Upper panel All the dishwasher controls ar e gr ouped on the upper p anel. Switch-on, programming, switch-off etc. procedur es are only possibl e when the door is open. 1 ON/OFF BUTT ON Pressing this button energises the appliance.

User instructions 11 3.2 Washing programs Before starting a wash ing program make su re that: • The water supply tap is open. • The correct amount of detergent has been added to the dispenser . • The baskets have been corr ectly loaded. • The spray arms ar e able to rotate freely and witho ut obstruction.
User instructions 12 CANCELLING THE CURRENT PROGRAM • T o cancel the currently sele cted progr am, open the door and h old down the PROGR A M SELECTION (3) button for a few seconds until the indicator lights for programs 4 and 5 illuminate simultaneously (the word "end" is displayed o n the window).
User instructions 13 If the door has to b e opened while washing is in progr ess, the progr am will be interrup ted. The relative light w ill keep flashing and a bee per will signal that the cycle has not been completed. You must wait about 1 minute before closing the door to re start the program.
User instructions 14 4. Operating instructions Once the dishwash er has been correctly installed, prepa re for use as follows: • Adjust the water softening system; • Add the regeneratin g salt; • Add the rinse aid an d detergent.
User instructions 15 • Do not use tab le salt as it contains insoluble substa nces which, over time, may damage the water softening system. • When necessary, refill the r egenerating salt co ntainer before starting the washing prog ram .

User instructions 17 ADDING THE RINSE AID The rinse aid helps the dis hes dry faster and prevents the formation of scale depos its and staining; it is automatic ally added to the water during the final rins e cycle, from the containe r situated on the inner side of the door.
User instructions 18 ADDING THE DETERGENT To open the detergent dispe nser cap, lightly press the button P . Add the deter gent and close the cap carefully.
User instructions 19 • "3/1" Products If you wish to use detergents which alre ady contain salt and rins e aid, check whether your d ishwasher is fitted w ith the " 3/1 option button " on the " Controls description " page and then ref er to the section which explains h ow to use this function.
User instructions 20 WARNING! • Make sure that the dishes are secu rely in pla ce so that they cannot tip over or obstruct the rotati on of the spray arms duri ng the washing cycle. • Do not place very small objects in the bask ets as these could fall and obstruct the spray arms or the w ash pump.
User instructions 21 4.4 Using the baskets The dish washer has a capacity of 10 place-setting s , including servin g dishes. LOWER BASKET The lower basket receives t he full force of the lower spray arm, and should therefore be used for the “t oughest” items with a heavier degree of soiling.
User instructions 22 CUTLERY BASKET The cutlery should be arranged in an orderly manner insid e the basket, with the handles poi nting downwards. T ake care during loadi ng to avoid injury from the knife blad es. The b asket is suitabl e for al l t ypes of cutlery, except those long enough to interfere with the upper s pray arm.
User instructions 23 LOADING THE UPPER BA SKET Load plates facin g forward; cups, bo wls etc. must alwa ys be facing downwards. The left-han d side of the basket can b e loaded with t wo layers of cups and glasses. On the right plates and s aucers can be slotted verticalli into the forks.
User instructions 24 5. Cleaning and maintenance Before carrying out any work, a lways unplug t he appliance from the electrica l supply or switch off the all-pol e disconnection de vice. 5.1 General warnings and recommendations Avoid the use of acidi c or abrasi ve detergents.
