Installation inst r uction s 5 2. Installation and hook-up Remove the polystyrene basket retainers. Position the appliance in the desired place of installa tion. The back or sides of the dishwasher m ay be placed up against walls or o ther furniture units.
Installation inst r uction s 6 2.1 Water supply conn ection Preventing the risk o f clogging or damage: if the water pipe is new or has not been used for a long time, before connecting to the water supply check that the water i s clear and fre e of impurities, to prevent d amage to the appliance.

User instructio ns 14 3.2 Wash program s Before starting a wash program check that: • The water supply tap is open . • The softener container contains regenerating salt . • The correct amount of detergent has been added to the dispenser . • The baskets have been correctly loaded .

User instructio ns 17 CANCELLING A PROGRAM IN PROGRESS • Open th e door, taking care to avoi d splashes of water, and hold down the PROGRAM SELECTION (3 ) button for a few seconds until the indicator lights for programs 4 and 5 illuminate simultaneously (marked "end").

User instructio ns 19 4. Operating instructions Once the dishwasher has been correctly installed, prepare it f or use as follows: • Adjust the water softening system • Add s alt • Add rinse aid and detergent 4.
User instructio ns 20 • Do not use ta ble salt , as it contains insoluble substances which, over time, may damage the water softening system. • The s alt container should be refilled before starting the wash program .

User instructio ns 22 ADDING RINSE AID Rinse a id helps the dishes dry faster and prevents the fo rmation of scale deposits and staining; it is automatically added to the w ater during the final rinse cycle. To add rinse aid: • Open the doo r. • Rotate the container cap anticlockwise by ¼ of a t urn and remove it.
User instructio ns 23 ADDING DETERGENT To open the detergent dispenser cap, l ightly press the button P . Add the detergent a nd close the cap carefully.
User instructio ns 24 The introduction of detergent into the rins e aid dispenser, even in liquid form, will damage the dishwasher. 4.3 General warning s and rec ommendations Before using the dish washer for the first time, it is advisable to read the following recommendations concerning dish types and loading.
User instructio ns 25 WARNING! • Make sure that the d ishes are securely in pl ace so that they cannot tip over or obstruct the rotation of the s pray arms during the wash cycle. • Do not place very small objects in the baskets as these c ould fall and obstruct the spray arms or the pump.
User instructio ns 26 4.4 Using the bas kets The dis hwasher has a capacity of 10 place-settings , including serving dishes. LOWER BASKET Used for items with a heavier degree of soiling.
User instructio ns 27 BOTTOM BASKET INSERTS Some models are equipped with bottom basket inserts which improve the drying of dishes. The inserts are supplied i n t he accessories bag; to use them, simply fit them into place as shown.
User instructio ns 28 UPPER BASKET It is recommended to load th e u pper basket with small or medium-sized items such as glasses, s mall plates and saucers, t ea or coffee cu ps, shallow b owls an d light objec t s made from heat resistant plastic.
User instructio ns 29 ADJUSTING THE UPPER BASKET The height of the upper basket c an be acco rding to requirements and the size of the dishes in the lower basket.
User instructio ns 30 Quicklift position setting system: system with 3 position settings (1 lowest, 3 highest). The basket is snapped into the position required, l ifting bo th sides simultaneously . To return to the lowest position from any height, lift the basket t o the highest position and then release.
User instructio ns 31 5. Cleaning and maintenance Before carrying out a ny work, always unplug the appliance from the electrical supply or turn off the dual-pole dedicated switch. 5.1 General warnings and recommend ations Avoid the use of acidic or abrasive detergents.
User instructio ns 32 CLEANING THE OSCILLATING BOTTOM SPRAY ARM ● Take hold of the bottom spray arm unit and pull it upward to release. ● Separate the oscillating arm A from the spray arm B . ● Turn the oscillating arm A u pside d own to re lease the toothed wheel C by pressing the teeth D and turning them anticlockwise.
User instructio ns 33 CLEANING THE FILTER UNIT • The ce ntral filter should be cleaned re gularly. To remove it, pull the spray arm assembly upwards. • Turn th e mi crofilter M anticlockwise to release and extract it, th en li ft the stainless steel filter F .
User instructio ns 34 PROLONGED DISUSE: • Run the soak program twice in succession. • Unplug the power cord from the socket. • Leave t he door slightly open in order to prevent the formation of unpleasant odours inside the wash tank. • Fill the rinse aid dispenser.
User instructio ns 35 If the dishes fail to dry or remain dull, check that: • The rinse aid container is not empty • The rinse aid dispense r setting is correct • The detergent used is of good q.
