Installation instructions 2. Installation and hook-up Remove th e polystyrene basket reta iners. Position the applian ce in the de sired plac e of instal lation. The bac k or sides o f the di shwasher may be place d up agains t walls or oth er furniture units.
Installation instructions 2.1 Wa ter s upply conne ction Preventing the risk of clogging or damage: if the water pipe is new or has not been used for a long tim e, before connecting to the water supply check that the water is cl ear and free of impurities, to prevent damage to the appliance.

User instructions 3. Description of the controls 3.1 Front panel All the dishwasher control are g rouped on th e front panel. Programming and option s election ar e only possib le with the door closed .
User instructions SETTING THE WASHING PROGRAM To select th e most sui table progra m for the dishes to be washed refer to the table bel ow, w hich indicates t he most appropr iate program accord ing to dish type and degree o f soiling.

4. Operating instructions Once the di shwasher ha s been correctly installed, prepare for use as follows: • Adjust the w ater softening system; • Add the regenera ting salt; • Add the rinse a id and deter gent.
• Do not use table salt as it contains i nsoluble substance s which, over time, m ay damage the w ater softenin g system . • When neces sary, refill the r egenerating salt conta iner be fo re starting the washi ng program .

ADDING THE RINSE AID The rinse aid helps the dishes dry faster and prevents the formatio n of scale deposits and staining; it is automat ically added to the water during the fin al rinse cyc le, from the cont ainer situated on t he inner si de of the door .
ADDING THE DETERGENT To open the de tergent disp enser cap, lightly press the button P . Add the detergent and close the cap carefully. During t he washing cycle, the d ispenser w ill be opened autom atically.
• The market off ers liquid and powder det ergents with differ ing chemical compositions , which may co ntain phosphat es , or be phosphate-free but contai n natural enzym es . - Detergents containing phos phates are more ef fective ag ainst grease and st arch at temper atures above 60°C .
4.3 General warnings and recommendations Before usi ng the dishwash er for the f irst time, it is advisab le to read the following r ecommendatio ns concern ing dish types to be washed an d their loa ding .
Items which are not dishwasher-safe: • Wooden dishe s, pots or p ans: these m ay be damaged by the high wash ing temperatures . • Handcrafted items: these are r arely suitable for washing in a dishwash er. The relati vely high w ater temperatur es and the detergents us ed may damag e them.

In the front there ar e one or tw o supports ( depending o n the model s) for small plates (B) . T o use them, they have to be turned towards the front of the dishw asher. LOADING THE LOWER BASKET Carefully load flat plate s, soup plates, dessert an d serving d ishes, positioning them vertically.
CUTLERY BASKET Cutlery must b e placed w ith the tips facing do wnward . Long items of cutlery (ladles, wooden spoon s, kitchen knives, etc.), which mi ght interfere w ith the upper spray arm must be placed in the upper basket , ensuring th at knife tips d o not projec t from the bask et.
UPPER BASKET It is rec ommended to lo ad the upper basket w ith small- or medium-sized items s uch as gl asses, s mall plates, te a or coffee cups, shallow bowls and light object s made fro m heat resi stant plast ic.
ADJUSTING THE UPPER BASKET The upper bas ket can be adj usted in two positions , a ccording to t he user’s need s and accor ding to the height of the dishes in the lower basket.
5. Cleaning and maintenance Before carrying out any w ork, always unplu g the appliance from the electrical su pply or switch off the all-pole disconn ection device. 5.1 General warnings and recommendations Avoid the use of aci dic or abrasive d etergents.
CLEANING THE FILTER UNIT • It is advisable to periodical ly inspect th e centre filter C and, if necessary , to clean it. T o remove the filter, grip the tabs, turn the m anticlockw ise and lift upw.
BEFORE STARTING THE DISHWASHER AFTER PROLO NGED DISUSE: • Check that ther e are no deposit s of sludg e or rust in side the water pipe: if there are, allow the w ater to run from the water supply tap for a few minut es. • Plug the power cor d back into t he socket.
If the dishes fail t o dry or remain dull, check that: • there is r inse aid insi de the special container; • the rinse aid dispenser setting is correct; • the deterg ent used is of good qua lity and ha s not lost its effectivene ss (for e xample, through incorrect storage, with t he box left open).
