22 Instructions f o r the installer 3. INST ALLA TION AND CONNECTION 3.1 Choice of location Alwa ys locate the freez er in a dry , sufficiently v entilated area. Ensure that it is no t directly e xposed to the sun's ra ys and do not place it outdoo rs.
23 Instructions f or the installer 3.2 P ositioning and leve lling the appliance When positioning the pr oduct, ensure that it does not dama ge the power cable. Two rollers are fitted at the back of the product's base (fig. 1) to make it mor e stable and easier to mo ve, and therefor e to make it possible to position it properly .

USING THE FREEZER 5.1 T urning on the freez er Note Clean the inside of the free zer before us e - Inser t the plug in to the socket. - Open the door and p ress the b utton (7) to turn the appliance on. - The red light (11) will flash as the inside of the freezer is not yet cold enough to put in f ood.

30 Instructions f or the user 7. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING 7.1 Defrosting the freezer The freez er needs to be defro sted man ually . Y ou are ad vised to defr ost it when the f rost or ice o n the shelv es is more than 2 cm thick (or on ce/twice per y ear).

Then empty th e dra wers, unplug th e freez er from the mains an d, once it has defrosted, dry off any residual moisture tha t ma y hav e accumulated.
