Installation instructions 2. Installation and hook-up Remove th e polystyrene basket retainer s. Position the appl iance in th e desired plac e of instal lation. The bac k or sides o f the di shwasher may be placed up against w alls or other furniture units.
Installation instructions 2.1 Wa ter s upply connec tion Preventing the risk of clogging or damage: if the water pipe is new or has not been used for a long tim e, before connecting to the water supply check that the water is cl ear and free of impurities, to prevent damage to the appliance.

User instructions 3. Operating instructions Once the di shwasher ha s been correctly insta lled, prepare for use as follows: • Adjust the water softeni ng system; • Add the rege nerating salt; • Add the rin se aid and deter gent.
User instructions • Do not use table salt as it contains i nsoluble substances whic h, over time, m ay damage the w ater softenin g system. • When neces sary, refill the r egenerating salt conta iner befo re starting the washi ng program .
User instructions ADDING THE RINSE AID The rinse aid helps the dishes dry faster and prevents the formatio n of scale depos its and staining; it is automat ically added to the water during the fin al rinse cyc le, from the cont ainer situated on t he inner si de of the door .
User instructions ADDING THE DETERGENT To open the de tergent disp enser cap, lightly press the button P . Add the deter gent and clos e the cap carefully.

Long items of cutlery (ladles, wooden spoons, kitc hen knives, e tc.), which mi ght interfere w ith the upper spray arm must be placed in the upper basket , ensurin g that knif e tips do not pro ject from the ba sket.
User instructions UPPER BASKET It is recom mended to lo ad the upper basket with small- or medi um-sized items s uch as gl asses, smal l plates, tea or coffee cup s, shallow bow ls and light object s made fro m heat resistant plastic.
User instructions ADJUSTING THE UPPER BASKET Version A: the upper basket can be adj usted in two positions , according to the user’s nee ds and accord ing to the he ight of the dish es in the low er basket.
