INSTR UCTIONS FOR SAFE AND PR OPER USE THIS MANUAL IS AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE APPLIANCE AND THEREFORE MUST BE KEPT IN ITS ENTIRETY AND IN A N ACCESSIBLE PLACE FOR THE WHOLE WORKING LIFE OF THE COOKER. Introduction THE I.D. PLATE WITH TECHNICAL DATA, REGISTRATION NUMBER AND BRAND NAME IS VISIBLY POSITIONED ON THE REAR PROTECTIVE COVER OF THE APPLIANCE. A COPY OF THE PLATE IS IN CLUDED WITH THE HANDBOOK AND YOU ARE ADVISED TO FIX IT IN THE APPROPRIATE SPACE ON THE INSIDE COVER PAGE.

Instructions for the user 3.2.3 Programming Cooking duration time: the 2 nd button can be use d to set the cooking time. Before setting it, turn the thermostat to the cook ing temperature of choice and the function selector knob to any setting.

Instructions for the user 4. USE OF THE COOKING HOB 4.1 Cooking zones The appliance features 4 c ooking zones of different diameter and po wer. Their positi on is clearly indicated by circles and the heat g iven off is defined by the markings on the glass surface.

Instructions for the user 5. USE OF THE O VENS 5.1 Warnings and general advice Before using the oven for the first time, pre-heat it to maximum temperature (250°C) lo ng enough to burn a ny manufacturing oily residues which could give the food a b ad taste.

Instructions for the user 7. COOKING HINTS In fan-assisted mode preheating s hould be carried o ut at 30/40°C above the cooking temperature. This consi derably shortens cooking times and reduces power consumption, as well as giving better cooking results.
Instructions for the user 48 7.2 H ot-air grilling FUNCTION SWITCH THERMOSTAT SELECTOR SWITCH FROM 50° TO 250°C Ensures uniform heat distrib ution with great er heat penetration into t he food. Food will be lightly brow ned on the outside and remain soft inside.
Instructions for the user 7.4 Defrosting THERMOSTAT IN POSITION The flow of air produced by the fan ensures quicker defrosting. The air circulating inside the ov en is at room temperature. The advantage of defrosting a t room te mperature is that it does not alter the taste and appearanc e of the food.

Excellent results can also be achieved i n completing cooking at the bottom and wit h dishes requiring heat in th e lower area in particular.

Instructions for the user 52 8. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE 8.1 Cleaning the glazed ceramic hob Before any intervention, disconnect the power supply of the device. The cooking hob should be regularly cleaned; best after every use, once the residual heat si gnal lamps have gone off.
Instructions for the user 8.2.2 Food stains or residues Do not use met allic sponges o r sharp scrapers: they w ill damage the surface. Use normal non-abrasive pr oducts for steel, and a wooden or plastic tool if necessary. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth or deersk in.
