AXIS Q1604 Netw ork Camer a Video and A udio Setting the compression level affects the image quality and bandwi dth; the lower the compression , the higher the image quality with higher bandwidth requirements. To avoid bandwidth problems on the netw ork, you can limit the frame rate allowed to each viewe r.
AXIS Q1604 Netw ork Camer a Video and A udio Capture Mode The capture mode setting reduces image fl icker in fl uorescent light environments as image data is sampled at a rate that matches the local power line frequency. C a p t u r em o d ei ss e tt h e fi rst time the product is accessed.
AXIS Q1604 Netw ork Camer a Video and A udio Wide Dynamic Range (Dynamic Contrast) Wide dynamic range (D ynamic Contrast) can improve the expo sure when there is a considerable contrast between light and dark areas in the image. In intense backlight conditions, enable W DR.
AXIS Q1604 Netw ork Camer a Video and A udio Example If s torage space or bandwidth is limited, try using a lower gain. This will reduce image noi se a n d pro duce sma lle r im age fi les. IR cut fi lt er The IR cut fi lter prevents infrared ( IR) light from reaching the image sensor.
AXIS Q1604 Netw ork Camer a Video and A udio Note • The back focus (step 2) should only be reset if the camera has been focused previously. • Set focus as precisely as possible using the focus pull er on the l ens (step 3) before starting the a utomatic fi ne-tuning (step 4).
