5 Squeezebox2 Owner’ s Guide SLIM DEVICES Installing the SlimServer Softwar e Installing on Windows: 1. Download the SlimServer installer program to a location you can fi nd again on your computer . Y our Desktop is a good choice. 2. When the fi le has fi nished downloading, double-click on the SlimServer installer icon.

Y ou can also connect a digital optical cable to the square connector or digital coaxial cable to the orange connector .
8 Squeezebox2 Owner’ s Guide SLIM DEVICES Confi guring Squeezebox2 When you plug in Squeezebox2, the Slim Devices logo is displayed briefl y , followed by a welcome message. Set Up Networking 1. Press the RIGHT arrow on the r emote control. The Set Up Networking menu option is displayed.
