9 AXIS P1346/-E/AXIS P1347/-E - Accessing the Camera Access from the Internet Once connected, the camera is accessible on you r local network (LAN). To access the camera from the Internet you must configure your broadband router to allow incoming data traffic to the camera.
10 AXIS P1346/-E/AXIS P1347/-E - Accessing the Camera Configure capture mode Capture mode defines how image data is taken from the image sensor with respect to resolution and frame rate, and is set the first time the camera is accessed. Select th e desired capture mode from the drop-down list and click OK .

14 AXIS P1346/-E/AXIS P1347/-E - Video and Audio Streams AXIS Media Control (AMC) AXIS Media Control (AMC) in Internet Explorer in Windows is the recommended method of accessing liv e video from the network camera. The AMC Control Panel can be used to configure various video and audio settings.
15 AXIS P1346/-E/AXIS P1347/-E - Setup Tools Setup Tools The network camera can be configured by users with administrat or or operator rights. To access the product’s configuration menus, click Setup i n the top right-ha nd corner of the Live View page.
16 AXIS P1346/-E/AXIS P1347/-E - Video & Audio Video & Audio Video Stream To enable view areas, go to Setup > Video & Audio > Camera Settings > View Areas . If View Areas have been enabled, the defined View Areas are listed here and each View Area is given its own video stream settings.
17 AXIS P1346/-E/AXIS P1347/-E - Video & Audio Overlay Settings To place an overlay image at sp ecific coordinates in the view area, check Include overla y image at coordinate s and enter the X and Y coordinates. The overlay image must first be uploaded to the network camera, see Overlay Image, on page 20.
18 AXIS P1346/-E/AXIS P1347/-E - Video & Audio Stream Profiles There are four pre-programmed stream prof iles available for quick set-up. These setti ngs can be adjusted and new customized profiles can be created. Each profile has a descriptive name, describing its usage an d/or purpose.
19 AXIS P1346/-E/AXIS P1347/-E - Video & Audio Wide Dynamic Range Check the box En able Dynamic Contrast to improve the exposure whe n there is a considerable contrast between light and dark areas in an image.
20 AXIS P1346/-E/AXIS P1347/-E - Video & Audio To modify a view area, select the view area in the list and click the Modify... butt on. Use your mouse to size and position the view area and change settings as needed. Click Save . To remove a view area, sele ct the view area and click Remov e .
21 AXIS P1346/-E/AXIS P1347/-E - Video & Audio Focus The Focus page provides tools and step-by-step instructions for focusing the the network camera. See also the Installation Guide supplied with the product. For most applications, the adjustments on the Basic tab are sufficient.
22 AXIS P1346/-E/AXIS P1347/-E - Video & Audio Audio Settings This section describes h ow to configure the basic audio settings for the network ca mera. Th ese settings apply to all video streams, whereas audio functionality can be enabled or disabled in each view area and stream profile.
