Chapter 2 25 System Utilities BIOS Setup Utility The BIOS Setup Utility is a hardware configuration prog ram built into y our computer ’s BIOS (Basic Input/ Output System). Y our computer is al ready properly configured and optimi zed, and you do not need to run this utility .
26 Chapter 2 Information The Information screen displays a summary of your computer ha rdware inform ation. NOTE: The system information is subjec t to variance across di fferent models. Parameter Description CPU T ype This field shows the CP U type and spee d of the system.
