- 2 - KETTLE Intended use This appliance is intended for the boiling and kee- ping hot of drinking water in domestic households. It is not intended for use with other fluids or for com- mercial applications.

- 4 - Heating water Danger NEVER place the electrical base y adjacent to water – a potentially fatal risk! Note Always use fr eshly drawn water . Do not consume any w ater that has already stood in the kettle for longer than one hour . Do not reboil water that has cooled down.
- 5 - Note Do not let the water stand in the kettle for longer than is absolutely necessar y . That would lead to scale deposits. P our away the water that is no lon- ger required immediately . K eeping water hot With this kettle you can maintain the w ater at a temperature of (about) 40°C, 60°C, 80°C or 1 00°C for 30 minutes.
- 6 - As soon as the water temperatur e falls below the set temperature, the k ettle heats up again automatical- ly . The LED q of the currently selected temperature setting blinks until the selected temperature has been regained. After wards, it glow s constantly again.
- 7 - • Should any scale deposits hav e set on the pourer sie v e i , soak it for a few hours in a water-vinegar solution at a ratio of 6:1 . The scale deposits will dissolve themselves. Rinse the pourer sie ve i with copious amounts of clear water .
