- 2 - Cool-Zone Deep Fat Fr y er Intended Usage The deep fr yer is intended for use in private house- holds, for fr ying foodstuf fs. It is not intended for use in commercial or industrial envir onments. Safe ty instr uctions Risk of electrical shocks.
- 3 - Warning about damage to the appliance! • When charging the stainless steel container with fat, NEVER fill it to above the MAX marking or to below the MIN marking. First ensure that there is suf ficient oil or fat in the deep fr yer every time you intend to switch the appliance on.
- 4 - Before the Firs t Use 1 . Before y ou use the deep fr yer for the first time please clean all individual components thoroughly and then dr y them carefully (see Chapter "Cleaning and Care"). 2. Pull the shor t-period timer q out from the deep fr yer .
- 5 - Note: When charging the stainless steel container 4 with fat, NEVER fill it to above the MAX marking or to below the MIN marking. 6. Inser t the plug into a mains power sock et. The pow er cable may not make contact with the hot areas of the deep fr yer .
- 6 - Note: The fr ying process can be ov erseen through the viewing windo w 1 in the appliance lid. Solid Cooking Fats T o avoid a spr aying of the fat and that t he appliance becomes too hot, please.

If necessary , shake off any ex cess oil or fat ov er the deep fr yer .
- 8 - • The fr ying basket 3 and the stainless steel con- tainer 4 can be cleaned in the dishwasher . They ar e suitable for dishwashers. • Clean t he housing and the appliance lid with a damp cloth. I f r equired, use a mild detergent on the cloth.
- 9 - Attention! Always close the appliance lid befor e lowering the fr ying basket 3 into the hot oil or fat. There is a risk of fire caused by splashing fat! • Always insert the foodstuf fs as slowly and care- fully as possible into the deep fr yer , as deep frozen foods can cause the oil or fat to bubble hef tily and abruptly .
