Quick Installation Guide This guide covers the insta llation and b asic setup procedures for the AXIS PrintPoi nt 140 BJC. If you need mor e detaile d instructio ns, please refer to the AXIS PrintPoint 140 BJC User’s Manual.
NetWare By foll owing th e i nstructions de tailed b elow, install your AXIS PrintPoint 140 B JC with the AXIS NetPil ot™ Installation Wi zard, supplied on the AXIS Utilities Diskette. Please note that AXIS NetPilot™ software requires a Windows pl atform that uses NetWare o r NetBIO S/NetBEU I.
Windows Supplied on the AXIS Utilities diskette, the AXIS Print Monitor should be used for network printing within Windows 95 and Windows NT environ ments. It a llows AXIS Network Print Serv ers to be connected in the same simple fashion as a local printer port and once instal led, is automatical ly initiali zed upon system startup.
8. Enter an appropriate name for yo ur printer and click Next> 9. Choose whether you wish to produce a Test Page and then click Finish . Client-server printing: The AXIS Print Monitor is not needed on th e client platforms for client-server printing.
