To detect the MAC address, manually, press t he button “Refresh Devices”. The displayed MAC address is the same MAC address printed on t he white sticker placed on the ba ck of the IP-KVM switch.

This connector is compliant with the RS 232 serial line standard. The serial li ne has to be configured with the parameters given in T able 4-2.

This is one of the original UNIX utilities and is included in every UNIX-like OS (UNIX, Sun Solaris, Linux).

The account super has all possible rights to configure the device and to use all functions IP-KVM switch offers. The account “use r” has only the permission to open and use the Remote Console.

The firmware of the IP-KVM switch c an be updated remotely in order to install new functionality or special features.
