4 PRODUCT INFORMA TION CARD The product information card should be completed within ten days of purchase and returned. 6 Unpacking and Examining Y our Oven Open the bottom of the carton, bend the carton flaps back and tilt the oven over to rest on plasticfoam pad. Lift carton off oven and remove all packing materials, Installation Instructions, W all T emplate, T op T emplate, Charcoal Filter , Turntable and T urntable Support.
7 INFORMA TION YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR OVEN When using the oven at power levels below 100%, you may hear the magnetron cycling on and of f. Condensation is a normal part of microwave cooking. Room humidity and the moisture in food will influence the amount of moisture that condenses in the oven.
8 INFORMA TION YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT UTENSILS AND COVERINGS Children below the age of 7 should use the micro- wave oven with a supervising person very near to them. Between the ages of 7 and 12, the supervising person should be in the same room. The child must be able to reach the oven comfort- ably; if not, he/she should stand on a sturdy stool.

11 TOUCH SCREEN CONTROL P ANEL Number next to the control panel illustration indicates page on which there are feature descriptions and usage information. STOP/CLEAR : 14 During programming, press once to return to the Home Page. During cooking, press once to stop cooking or twice to cancel the cooking program.
12 INTRODUCTION TO TOUCH SCREEN The Home Page is the beginning. It shows the time of day , if the clock ha s been set. It also shows Minute Plus+, where by touching the screen the next screen appears, making it easy to select one of twelve commonly used times.

16 If the food that you wish to defrost is not listed on the COMPU DEFROST or SUPER DEFROST CHAR TS or is above or below the limits in the AMOUNT column on the COMPU DEFROST or SUPER DEFROST CHAR TS, you need to defrost manually . 30 For most cooking, the turntable should be on; however the turntable can be turned off so that it does not rotate when extra large dishes, such as the popular 13 x 9 x 2 glass utility casserole, are used. The casserole should be placed on the turntable so that it is level.

33 OTHER CONVENIENT FEA TURES KITCHEN TIMER Use this feature as a general purpose timer . Y ou can enter any time up to 99 minutes and 99 seconds. If you want to cancel the timer during the count down phase, simply press STOP/CLEAR and the display will return to the Home Page.
