Dear Customer, Before using the appliance, the user should read the following instructions carefully. Connection to the mains supply The appliance should only be connected to an earthed socket installed in accordance with the regulations. Make sure that the supply voltage corresponds with the voltage marked on the rating label.
Thermal safety cut-out The preset thermal safety cut-out protects the heating element from overheating should the appliance be erroneously switched on without any water, or if the heating element is calcified.
Guarantee This product is guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase. Under this guarantee the manufacturer undertakes to repair or replace any parts found to be defective, providing the product is returned to one of our authorised service centres.

To avoid eyestrain, do not sit too close to the product. Take a rest for at least five (5) minutes after using the monitor for one (1) hour. This reduces eye fatigue. Do not install it in an unstable location such as an unstable rack or uneven surface or a location exposed to vibrations.
The batteries (and rechargeable batteries) are not ordinary re- fuse and must be returned for recycling purposes. The customer is responsible for returning the used or rechargeable batteries for recycling.

Using the DVI (Digital) connector on the video card. • Connect the DVI Cable to the DVI port on the back of your LCD Display and the DVI port on the computer. Using the HDMI (digital) output on the graphics card. • Connect the HDMI IN port on the monitor to the HDMI port on the PC using the HDMI cable.
Using the BNC (Analog) connector on the video card. (Applicable to the UX-2 model only) • Connect the BNC/COMPONENT IN port on the monitor to the BNC port on the PC using the BNC to BNC cable. Connect the audio cable for your LCD Display to the audio port on the back of the LCD Display.
