16 Wireless RF Transmission technology With this RF stethoset receiver system you c an move around freely in the home or outside in the garden without the constrictions of a cable! The RS 2400 will transmit the stereo sound signal from your TV set to the stethoset receiver.
17 Where to place the transmitter Choose a suitable place near your TV set. Attention! Some furniture surfaces have been treated with varnish, polish or synthetics which migh t cause stains when they come into contact with other synthetics.
18 Automatic on/off sw itching The transmitter features a convenient automatic on/off function. When an audio signal rea- ches the transmitter, it is sw itched on and the LED at the front of the transmitter lights up green. The LED also indicates that an accupack is being recharged.
19 Optimum modulation level of the transmitter 왘 First, set the volume of your TV set to a medi um valu e. 왘 The TR 2400 transmitters is fitte d with an automatic modulation control which prevents overmodulation of the transmitter. The LED at the front of the transmitter indicates optimum mo dulation.
20 왘 Set the volume control on the receiver to a medium value (position 3–4). 왘 Slowly turn c ontrol (“TUNE”) on the stethoset receiver until you can hear the audio signal loud and clear. The receiver’s AFC ( A utomatic F requency C ontrol) circuitry stabilises your adjustment.
21 Important 왘 Only use the transmitter with a suitable Sennhe iser mains unit. Always disconnect the mains connector when you wish to change connecti on s or move the device to a different place. 왘 Never open electronic devices! This must only be done by authorised personnel and is al l the more valid for repair s on current-carrying units.
22 What to do if... ... the volume is up but you 왘 There is no audio signal avai lable. Check the tr ansmitter cannot hear anyt hing: connection. Is the volume at the headphone socket of your sound source sufficient? 왘 Are you still within the transmitter’s range? 왘 Is the receiver on the same frequency as the transmitter? .
23 Accessories 왘 BA 151 Rechargeable accupack as a spare, for use whe n the supplied accupack is b eing recharged. 왘 L 151-2 Charger for recharging two BA 151 accupacks (recommended when more than two stethoset receivers are used with one transmitter).
24 Recharging the BA 151 accupack Do not let the accupac ks become completely flat . I f you do, they will be exhausted and cannot be recharged (“total discharge”).
