Putting the RS 125 system into operation 9 왘 Adjust the volume of the head phone socket on your sound source to a medium level. This improves the quality of cord- less sound transm ission.
Putting the RS 125 system into operation 10 Charging the headphones’ rechargeable batteries 왘 Place the headphones on the charging cradle 6 .M a k e s u r e that the charging indictor 8 lights up. The headphones automatically switch off and the recharge- able batteries are being charged.
Putting the RS 125 system into operation 11 Nearly discharged batteries will significantly reduce the sound quality. Approx. 10 minutes before the batteries are com- pletely discharged, an acous tic signal is produced.
Using the RS 125 system 12 Using the RS 125 system T o switch the devices on and to listen to your sound source, proceed as follows: Switching the transmitter on and off Switching the transmitter on 왘 Switch your sound source on. The transmitter automatically switches on and the opera- tion indicator 7 lights up.
Using the RS 125 system 13 operation indicator 7 goes off. The tran smitter is now in standby mode, its power consumpt ion is very low so that it can remain connected to the mains. Using the RS 125 system 14 Switching the headphones off Searching for a sound source 왘 Make sure that the operation indicator 7 on the trans- mitter is lit. If you do not hear the desired soun d source, continue the search: 왘 If you cannot find your sound source, please read the following section.

Using the RS 125 system 16 Switching the acoustic signals (beeps) on and off An overview of the acoustic si gnals is given on page 6. The acoustic signals can be swi tched on and off as follows: 왘 Switch the headphones on (see page 13). 왘 Press the TUNE button 3 for 5 seconds.
