9 5. Hold the cover and c onnect the po wer cable and SAT A cable to the hard disk . 6. And then, turn th e cover over caref ully. 7. Hold the cover para llel with DVR unit and put the co ver back to the DVR unit and be caref ully the hard disk that inside the cover.
10 1.4.2 Connecting De vices Pen drive and ex ternal hard disk mus t be FAT32 format. i - All connected dev ices have its ow n power supply is necessary. - 1.3 MP with H.264/MP EG4/ MJPEG on the first 4 channels and 2.3MP with MJPEG on the 1st channel for IP ca m connection.

The back panel of the DVR unit, user can connect up t o 4 cameras in combi nation of analo g and I P camera. The DVR unit also can connect 4 senso r devices, 1 alarm dev ices, and output v ideo to a LCD moni tor.

13 1.5 Sensor, Relay and RS485 pinhole allocation The Sensor and Alarm enable you to connect 4 sensor inputs, 1 relay outputs and PTZ cameras. Just connect the external sensor, relay, and PTZ came ra pi n dir ectly to the pinhol e. Check the table bel ow and l ocate which pinhole is assigned to sensor input and relay output.

15 1.6 Familiarizing the Remote Control Buttons Use the Remo te control to operate the DVR unit. Name Function (1) Switch to playback mode (2) S tart/stop recording video. T o stop rec ording, the authentication password is r equired. (3) T o call out s y stem setup menu.

40 3.2 Camera Setup The DVR sy stem supports 8 came ras in combination o f analog and IP cameras or only analog cam eras. The DVR system only supports first 4 channels (CH1 ~ 4) for IP camera. 3.2.1 T o Setup IP Camera Click Default w ill back to the factory de fault value.
