5 English SETTING THE TIME AND ADJUSTING THE STOPWATCH HAND POSITION 6 Minute hand Hour hand CROWN Pull out to second click when the second hand is at the 12 o’clock position.
6 English 6 1. When the stopwatch is or has been measuring, if the crown is pulled out to the second click, it will automatically reset the STOPWATCH hands to “0”. 2. If the alarm has been set and the crown is pulled out to the second click, the ALARM hands will turn to indicate the current time.
7 English 3. STOPWATCH HAND POSITION ADJUSTMENT 6 STOPWATCH minute hand B ▼ ▼ A Press for 2 seconds. * STOPWATCH minute hand turns a full circle. Press repeatedly to set STOPWATCH minute hand to the “0” position. A Press for 2 seconds. B Press repeatedly to set STOPWATCH 1/5-second hand to the “0” position.
8 English ▼ ▼ ● ALARM and STOPWATCH hands can be readjusted in the following order by pressing button for 2 seconds. A STOPWATCH minute hand ▲ STOPWATCH 1/5-second hand ▲ ALARM hands * ALARM hands advance 12 hours. * STOPWATCH minute hand turns a full circle.
9 English SETTING THE DATE ● Before setting the date, be sure to set the main time. 6 ➠ ➠ CROWN Pull out to first click. ▼ Turn clockwise until the desired date appears. ▼ Push back in to normal position. Date 1. It is necessary to adjust the date at the end of February and 30-day months.
10 English STOPWATCH ● The stopwatch can measure up to 60 minutes in 1/5-second increments. ● After 60 minutes, it will start counting again from “0” repeatedly up to 12 hours. 6 A B ✩ Before using the stopwatch, be sure to check that the crown is set at the normal position and that the STOPWATCH hands are reset to the “0” position.

12 English 6 SINGLE-TIME ALARM ● The alarm can be set to ring only once at a designated time within the coming 12 hours. ● The alarm time can be set in one minute increments. ✩ Before using the alarm, check that the ALARM hands are adjusted to the current time.
13 English ● HOW TO STOP THE ALARM At the designated time the alarm rings for 20 seconds, and it is automatically disengaged as it stops. To stop it manually, press button A or B. 1. The single-time alarm cannot be set for a time more than 12 hours ahead of the current time.
14 English ● HOW TO CANCEL THE ALARM TIME YOU HAVE SET 6 ➠ ➠ B CROWN Pull out to first click. B ▼ ▼ Press and hold until ALARM hands stop and indicate the cur- rent time. CROWN Push back in to normal posi- tion. * To correct the alarm time you have set, follow the procedure described in “ALARM TIME SETTING”.
15 English TACHYMETER (for models with tachymeter scale on the dial) ● Tachymeter scale can be used only when the time required is less than 60 seconds. To measure the hourly average speed of a vehicle Use the stopwatch to determine how many seconds it takes to go 1 km or 1 mile.
16 English To measure the hourly rate of operation Use the stopwatch to measure the time required to complete 1 job. 1 Tachymeter scale indicated by STOPWATCH second hand gives the average number of jobs ac- complished per hour.
17 English BATTERY CHANGE The miniature battery which powers your watch should last approximately 3 years . However, because the battery is inserted at the factory to check the function and performance of the watch, its actual life once in your possession may be less than the specified period.
18 English ● Do not remove the battery from the watch. ● If it is necessary to take out the battery, keep it out of the reach of children. If a child swallows it, consult a doctor immediately. WARNING ● Never short-circuit, heat or otherwise tamper with the battery, and never expose it to fire.
