www.avenview.co m 3 Getting Started The Cat5 DVI-D Ex te nder syste m consists of a Trans mitter and one or more Transc eivers. The syste m can extend DVI-D signals over Cat5/5 e/6 cable. By cascad ing Transceivers it is p ossible to extend the DVI- D signal to any length.

www.avenview.co m 10 d. Connect the Cable: Plu g one ends of UTP cable to DVI- C5 - S Trans mitter ’s “LINK IN /OUT” port and the other end to the DVI- C5 - R Transceiver’s “LIN K IN/OUT” port. The monitor connected to the Trans ceiver should now displa y and the “LINK” LED should turn g reen to indicate the DVI sign al activation.
