2 PRECA UTIONS z Do not use the monitor near water, e.g. near a bathtub, washbow l, kitchen sink, laundry tub, sw imming pool or in a w et basement. z Do not place the monitor on an unstable cart, stand, or table. If the monitor falls, it can injure a person and c ause serious damage to the appliance.
3 SPECIA L NOTES ON LCD MONITORS The following symptoms are normal w ith LCD monitor and do not indicate a problem. NOTES • Due to the nature of the fluoresc ent light, the screen may flicker during initial use. Turn off the Power Sw it ch and then turn it on again to make sure the flicker disappears.
4 INSTA LLA TION INSTRUCTIONS Support Frame Do not perform a pulling or plugging action when the display is under slanting status to prevent the display from ejecting. Pull out the pin from the display s upport frame as per the figure and then adjust the height.
5 CONTROLS A ND CONNECTORS CA BLE CONNECTIONS Turn off your computer befor e performing the procedure below . 1. Plug the pow er cable of your m onitor into a nearby outlet.
6 Your monitor features a multi-adjustable stand that will enable it move 100mm up/down (height adjustment), 25 degree forward/backward (tilt adjustment), 70 degree side/side (swivel adjustment). To make an adjustment, grasp the monitor with both hands on the right and left edge of the casing and move it to the desired position.
7 OPERA TING INSTRUCTIONS GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS Press the power button to turn the moni tor on or off. The other control buttons are located at front panel of the monitor (See Figure 3). By changing these settings, the picture can be adjust ed to your personal preferences.
